I’ve come across some lovely Flash content today. First up is kuler from Adobe Labs, which essentially enables users to share colour themes. So in Web 2.0 terms, I suppose you could call it Social Swatching.

Next up is PICTAPS from ROXIC. Whilst you could argue that the site is essentially useless, it’s a lovely way to pass some time, and is pretty damn impressive in technical terms. Basically, you create a 2D sketch, which is then animated in a lovely 3D environment. And, er, that’s it. So yeah, useless, but very cool

Adam Ant was a big hero of mine growing up; as far as I’m concerned he was one of the best, most exciting pop stars Britain has ever produced. Kings of the Wild Frontier was a huge album for me. A greatest hits album was released last month (along with his autobiography, which I’m about half way through – bloody hell, he’s had a hard life) and there’s a nice little microsite to accompany it. The official Adam Ant news service can be found here

Flash has now been around, in one form another, for ten years. So Adobe, who have had almost nothing to do with the development and growth of the Flash format, are marking the occasion

Neave.tv is an experimental use of the most creative videos found on the web, powered by Blip.tv, Google Video and YouTube.

I love this site. Nice simple idea, very well executed. Paul Neave, you’re a genius.

The Original Trilogy
The website for the new Lego Star Wars videogame has just gone live, and has some nice little touches. By visiting different parts of the site, you can earn studs, which will then buy you stuff like screensavers and wallpapers (whoopee). You can also download a PC demo of the game. Personally, I’m hoping they’ll release a downloadable PSP demo, but I’m not holding my breath

Aptana - The Web IDE
This looks interesting; a free, open source, cross-platform Web Development app. I’ll be downloading it and trying it out over the next few days, so I’ll be sure to report back on how I get on

The third phase of The Lost Experience has been launched online at hansoexposed.com. It’s based around a simple video editing system; to unlock video clips for use in your video sequence you need to find code fragments, which can be found within various websites, blogs and podcasts. It’s all very esoteric and the site doesn’t give much away – yet. Apparently once all 70(!) code fragments have been found and the video clips have been arranged in the correct order, the significance of The Numbers will be revealed
